A wolf in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
After struggling to get any shots of the wolf in the distance using the 300mm lens, it actually had crossed the road ahead of us and was running up the hill. I was caught off guard and tried to snap some shots off. The trees made it nearly impossible, but got sort of lucky with this shot. If his eye had not been in between the two trees, I wouldn't have been able to even try and use this.
